Leadership coaching

“The responsibility of leadership is to not come up with all the ideas but to create an environment in which great ideas can thrive”. Simon Sinek

How would you or your direct reports describe your impact? Is it aligned?

Leadership coaching provides an opportunity to pause and reflect on current ways of working and it’s impact on both team dynamics and effectiveness in role. Have you reflected upon what is stopping you from doing your best work?

In order to create awareness it is important to gain feedback through different data points. We have various tools at our disposal.

The coaching sessions are scheduled to provide opportunity for application and adoption of new ways of working or dialling up what is working. Leaders have access to resources from both business and psychology to inform and elevate performance.

Questions to create awareness:

As a senior leader or executive it can be very isolating at the top – do you have a sounding board or trusted confidant who will challenge your thinking?

How adaptive are you?

Have you created an environment for receiving the right intel from your colleagues or direct reports?

Are you providing the space for them to contribute their perspective or solution and challenge yours? And are you capturing the collective intelligence in our knowledge economy?

Are you operating at the right level ?

Can you navigate the complexities whilst managing your diverse workforce? How do you navigate the potential friction that occurs yet capitalise the diversity of thought?

If you have a leadership cohort whom you would like to develop a module based approach is available to recognise prior learning to elevate collective performance.

Wellbeing coaching

Wellbeing refers to an overall state of health, encompassing physical, psychological, emotional and social. It's about having the resources to thrive and flourish as life challenges and opportunities change.

How important is your wellbeing?

Wellbeing coaching is a strategic investment. What are the hidden costs of not prioritising your or your team’s health?

Opportunity cost - there is a significant cost to business when wellbeing dips - decreased productivity, overwhelm, lack of focus, burnout and / or psychosocial hazards… directly impacting on the bottom line and importantly the individual’s wellbeing.

In order to create awareness of where you sit on the continuum of thriving to languishing an assessment provides the data to understand your unique situation.

Your results will determine the support offered to create wellbeing practices that are sustainable and lead to achievement of your wellbeing goals.

The coaching is complemented with an evidence based report and resources to inform your wellbeing practices.

Wellbeing uplift workshops in areas such as resilience are on offer to support the workforce through these uncertain times.

Team

“Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, both because it is so powerful and so rare.” Patrick Lencioni.

Hyperbolic discounting - how much time do you invest on your team? How telling are your engagement results? What are the hidden costs to the business when the team have lack of clarity of role, priorities, or fail to communicate? Investment in your time will reap significant short and long term economic benefits.

Taking the opportunity to assess the team function and create space for important conversations enhances communication and collaboration. Leading to intelligent solutions and decision making. And it builds relationships that significantly impact both the individual and team wellbeing, engagement and sense of belonging.

It is important to create psychological safety to facilitate conversations that are needed.

The team engagement may take many forms. A team profiling can be useful and create a framework for important conversations and the way forward.

Programs elements can include:

Team fundamentals –  a diagnostic, a series of offsites and group coaching to embed team commitments

Team charter – clearly defining and setting the team focus for the year (values and purpose)

Team introspective – having high impact conversations on what is working and what is sub optimal

Team planning – defining the strategy that is adaptive in today’s uncertain environment

Team celebration – building social capital and acknowledging team achievements.

Establishing a baseline of the team’s trust and their level of maturity will determine the program elements /scope of work…
